Hi there,

It's Kristin again. So sorry to see I disappointed you! I didn't think you'd want to hear from me until I had something super on-topic to discuss with you. (Assuming that bloggers, like reporters, don't want to get oodles of spam on topics that don't interest them. I guess I assumed wrong. Wouldn't be the first time!)

Among other things, we've been busy getting the word out about a quirky, cultishly popular musician known as PWRFL PWR. It's been interesting. We sponsored a battle of the bands in Seattle last year, and the fan favorite (selected by popular vote in the Seattle area) got the chance to appear on the main stage and to appear in an Esurance music video style ad. Of course, the video also featured Erin Esurance.

We produced the ad, but first launched it only on YouTube and our MySpace page. The artist featured it on his site and talked about it with his fans as well.

Then, a wee bit later, we posted a :15 version as a part of our online video buys on a variety of sites. Then, a wee bit after that (May), we started airing a :30 on national TV on appropriate networks.

You can see the video and some artist info at http://www.esurance.com/pwr

The response has been interesting, and we won't know how it completely shakes out until the campaign's over at the end of this month. It will be really interesting to see the difference between types of media and how they all work together (or don't), if audiences overlap (or don't).

Those results were the "exclusive" I was going to give you at the end of June, but it seems it would have just been unsolicited and unwelcome anyway. My apologies.

At any rate, hope all is well. Wish you and your readership all the best.
