The battle continues as Microsoft and Yahoo chase Google for market share. Below is the latest aggregate information off our network on Search Engine referral % for last month (February).Meanwhile off the web, the top three search engines battled it out on the party front. Yahoo celebrated its 10th anniversary at New York’s Hammersmith Ball Room in “Anti-Oscar” style. The lavish and well attended event was complete with souvenir martini glasses. A very nice touch. Later in the week both Microsoft and Google had smaller (exclusive) functions in attempt to woo the budgets of search engine marketers attending Jupiter’s Search Engine Strategy Conference in NYC.

Browser Wars
The FireFox browser continues its gain on IE as the browser of choice rising to 6.17% market share up from 5.59 % in January. FireFox gain is Microsofts loss who finished up at 89.04%. Microsoft’s market share is down from 90.31% in December 2004. Most other browsers maintained a steady and loyal base.
